oh wow, good to see some people still active. my clan plans on setting up an obscurity server soon. i haven't seen any us/canadian servers do they even exist? lol

They did until I removed them due to them either changing to other mods or being dead/shut down. It is possible there are some around that I don't/didn't have listed here though.

ah i see. my clan is mainly canadian/american. the server hoster was having some trouble trying to crack the server. something to do with the admin panel, apparently it was crashing or something lol i dont quite remember what he said. is it possible to have a cracked server running the obscurity mod? all our other servers are cracked so we can have a more diverse player base

I cannot answer that as I have no experience with running a cracked server. All I know is that it is most likely you will need COD4 to be updated to the latest version as that is what we built the mod from.
Somebody else may be able to answer your question.

It is simple to take over the build in Obscurity admin panel if you run a cracked server.

Yeah, I read a lot about people being able to take over the admin panel but the guys I play with are insanely good coders/programmers and can most likely come up with a fix :P

Do you come also up with a fix against cheaters and teamkillers which rejoin your server with a new IP-Address and GUID just in the moment you have banned them ?

G'day Snakelet.
How are you and what are you up to these days? Us Aussies don't see you on the Obs server anymore :(
I also hear you may shutdown the Obs Server soon if you can't get donations?...
With your permission, a friend of mine is seeking permission to download mp_obs299e to make his own server and use it for guild obs scrims seeming there is some foul-mouthed and sketchy people making him and his clan feeling unwelcomed in your cod4 au server.
No proof of hacking has yet to be submitted to Pheonix so him and his clan would like to make their own place to play.
Please get back to me whenever you have the free time.
By the way do you still play any FPS?

All the latest files are on the server so if you have connected recently you should have them. Feel free to use them to run your own server. Sorry to hear that my server has some idiots running amuck on it.
I dont really play obs much now unless im working on it. i paid the server for another month for now. honestly i am not looking for donations, its just i am now out of a job so not sure how much longer i can keep it going.
I play a lot of Battlefield 4 now. Snakelet it my soldier name.
Sorry for late response. Hope you had a good christmas break :)

I've been playing this mod for years, never got tired of it! It would be really nice to see a Canada/US server. I'll even donate to keep it alive lol.

Feel free to set one up there yourself 
You just need a good game server host that allows custom mods. As I am not located in the US it is not very beneficial for me to run one there.
