Hello

I was just wondering if I am allowed to host a server for Obscurity Mod. I'd be more then happy to give Falcar and Snakelet if your reading this Administrator privileges. I was just wondering, Would i be allowed to use your mod on a public server. If you would like I would also give you all the details... You can even put the IP up for Aus/NZ servers. I am quite happy to make changes in the way you seem fit. I would just like to know as well if we do agree to something, whether or not the Version 2.99D will be put on the server or the public releases. Also concerning me giving you Administrator any other admins on your server MAY have it to my discretion. I would be happy also to have your banslist...That way we will start off with little hackers.

One other thing. With you making or suggesting changes. I will be very open but if i think something needs to be done i will do it. Im not saying none of your ideas will be on the server i simply mean i will have the final decision. If i do make a decision feel free to debate it with me and i will further consider the changes.

Anyone is free to run an Obscurity server. You don't need our permission.

Providing the details of the server allows us to list it here on the website to make it easier for other to find, but it is not 100% necessary. Your best starting it off with 2.99c as we haven't released the config and other features of 2.99d yet, which means we change it on a very regular basis. We do aim to have version 2.99d publicly released once we have an adequate amount of stances and iron out the important bugs.

We do not have to be admins on any server you host. That is solely your decision.

The Melon Ban list is built into the mod, and can be turned on and off via the config. We suggest you leave it on (default) so that those on it cannot access your server, but server owners have the right to enable/disable this feature if they want to.

OK. Thank you for the speedy reply. I would not mind to have your admins or soem of them on the server. I have never had an issue with your admins. I would not mind at all. And having you and falcar as admins would not hurt. I believe since you and Falcar have spent so much time creating the mod it world not hurt to allow you to have admin or to have some part of what happens with the server.
