Well because of some debate in the chatbox about which is better I decided to make this topic, state which mod you like better and why. Personally I like obscurity better because it is not emulating something that has not happened before and is not likely to happen in the future, so there is more flexibility in what you can do, I do however like hitloc because of the realism that I have not seen in any other mod of the sort. Feel free to post and have your say guys :)

Obs for sure.... but both are awesome mods.
i like obs because i see it as an entirely different game where as hitloc i just see as an improvement on cod.
Love both though

I like Hitloc thats where the work shines night and day cycles rain blood on screen wow awsome mod.OBS i tried and i hate it all you do is hunt a predator lol the fun is on hitlock and the realisim you really cant compare Hitloc to OBS but if you want OBS to be your mod then so be it but i wont be around if you nuke Hitloc i am only here for Hitloc GORE GORE GORE GORE..............

I love both mods, and particularly want Hitloc to be played by the masses, BUT considering Obscurity is what everyone is currently playing we will try finish it off and get a final release happening. Please don't dismiss Hitloc though, as once we do finalise Obscurity, we want to really go back to Hitloc and give it the same treatment that Obs has received...if everyone hasn't ditched for crap ops...

Obscurity is the Best...!!! HitLoc is a good mod but for the most people is too much confused especially for the noobs...they always kill their friends...!!! lol

How can u kill friends lol all the servers i play in here in NA are set different to servers in UK or AU.You cant shoot friends in our servers its turned off and is annoying as hell and another thing i mostly play FFA/DM only and Hitloc does the trick great mod awomes gore by the way i locked WBGS server down due to people editign and distributing my edited version of Hitloc.Just to let you guys now i never messed with Snakelets base or his work messing with that would be unmodder like and there for should be punished all i added was a few sounds loading screens and a main menu once again thanks for a awsome mod and i welcome any one that took part in making Hitloc to come check what i have done if you need the info to connect please email me at kidx@white-black-gaming.com and ill send you the info right away.Also with our server locked down we hope to nuke racism on our server any kind of racism you will be bannd Please be kind and rewind.This is KIDX saying peace untill the next post........

hragh, if you're playing with friendly fire disabled you're doing it wrong. half the point is that you have to identify enemies by their uniforms

You miss out on a good portion of features when playing DM. The mod is made for team based gameplay, but each to their own. Fun can still be had in DM.

My server run the Obscurity-MoD and the FF is ON, few people kill their friends, but if i put HitLoc-MoD with FF on the server becomes a killing of friends.
Play Obscurity-MoD or HitLoc-MoD with FF off or with DM gametype have no sense...!!!
I like both mods but i like more Obscurity because it is less confusing to play in a public server.
