hey guys i saw xfire vid contest was on and i was wondering if yous could maybe help me. i wanna make a video of obs where the marine gets chased by he obs and they taunt the marine and blood goes on the screen and epic stuff. anyone keen for it?

the vid im thinking of making will probly go best in best finale and marine get chased and taunted by obs and get blood in his face and has clays and lazers or something and takes down a few obs and im eventually cornered in some room where i can here them but then they phase in or something and kill me
btw im goin away and ont b back till tuesday.. .til then..

I would suggest reading the details closely in regards to these competitions, as most of them usually state unmodded, unedited footage.

yeah, i reckon just have it either as
- the veiw from the marines
- or from a spectator,
tho the marine would prob be better.
i reckon we jump on 2night or 2moz night figure something out?
in the category "best finale" there was some edted vids..
i did see this tho "Each Video submission must be submitted through the “Xfire Video Capture system”."

i have it decently planned though im not sure how many pple should be in it, tho i wasn some dead bodies and blood that we will have to preplace :D
the red line represents the trail we take and im not sure if we want oneor 2 marines goin on the blue way, either way we end up in middle building but im not sure again if only one marine makes it to the house or if only like 4ish make it. at the number 6 is where the last in line marine gets ambushed with number 1 is the group leader and they are halfway across the street when a marine screams(he gets crippled) and then u hear the obs sounds and knive noises while a few more die and a couple make it to the house, where we set up clays and lasers.one guy is in the sniper room in that house and when the main guys checks on him he sees him get destroyed and so he shoots and ghoes back into the room with the stairs and hears explosions downstairs and shooting and i run back into the corner and am freaked and get taunted and he drop down from infront of me and owns me.
if we could it would be made when before we get ambushed that we use the commands like "move up" and " fall back" and cstuff like that.
problay have max 6 marines in the main column and see if we still want the blue column. we only need to start recording probly at the most right red arrow

if you got to have a recording from everyone so it could be mixed together and edited it together then you would have a definate winner, probabley need a private server, no time limit and vent/ts to keep it together but it could be a real winner
private server jsut so you dont have someone with a rocket just mess everything up
also at the end: just as he drops infromt of you you hear the "click" of no ammo, the obs laughs and another 2 drop down either side of it. theres then a bloody rampage as all three move in for the kill.

yeah and he is crippled also, i was wonderin if the hitloc server could be used for it. vent would help but if we practise it a bit it should be fine, and i dont think your allowed to edit the video for this category :(
still undecided on the spectator doin the vid or the marine vew...

If the footage isn't allowed to be edited, it's going to be awfully hard seeing as your using the xfire in-game video capture.

I will run the Obscurity server when you need it. You will need to xfire me at the time you wish to use it, so that I can get it running for you.
