Hey all, I know how much you hate having to create your class every map, and saving classes just wasn't working :( However, I've been working on class "presets" which are built into the mod and can be loaded in the create-a-class menu. Post a class you would like in there, and if i can get the buttons (damn menu system!) working properly the best ones will be chosen as presets! Here's my sample...

The Fire Bug sneaks around, lighting the Obscurity on fire.

Perk 1: 3X Frag

Perk 2: Sonic Boom

Perk 3: Dead Silence

Perk 4: Incendiary Grenades

Primary: G36c with silencer

i would like to see smokes with the ability to choose 3 because when u want to play a medic and beat an obs to your casualty it would be nice to pop a smoke in to beat the obs there.

seriously?! i love the sniper in cod 4 matches etc but for obs mod?! how the fuck can you use it without being extremly lucky?i know you can aim for the poor bastard on the floor being raped by the obs and possibly get a luck ass shot, but other than that?!

Altho if there was some sort of motion/heat sensor on the sniper that would be awsome

Sniper = win

LMG deserves a ban ^^

Sub is for some

Assault is for others

So pretty much u get an r700 and an acog and u have urself a 1 hit kill, long ranged, boom stick of hate. At close range you can do a fast scope and shoot, more kills are done this way than anyother. And for those who like long ranged look for object movement if the brick moves an obs is close by^^

how do you use the sniper? well, first you get eyes that actually work, go stand behind a barrel, doorway, pile of corpses or in the open, then use your eyes! the obscurities are not hard to see! once you've seen one, point and click and watch it fall over. done! if my computer was good enough to not explode if i tried it, i would make a vid of raging obscurities calling me a hacker...

LOL yes, there has been a lot of sniping lately.

I will say that hiding in corpses is a less reliable tactic as ragdolls are not syncronised, so just becuase the body is there on your screen, it may be in a different spot on another persons screen.

Secondary weapon: w/e Pistol u like up to you :) (prefer deagle though need practise for promod :P) (Obviously a silencer on this deagle)

First Perk: Bandoliers

Third Perk: Deep Impact (see no need for steady aim on SMG)

Fourth Perk: Medic (FTW since self medic)

Camo: love the snow but makes u show up so easily (btw wat does snakelet look like 0_o)

But my first setup usually works best for me ^>^ I play on the US |EAS| server and it's tons o fun! We have slots for 30 but it doesn't get full enough >< Anyway, hope you liked em ^.^

I have a quick eye at sniping sometimes.

Ask people, as long as you set up a position you can run from quickly, with a good view on open space, sniping is a breeze

Pffft so many things wrong there A. ur class has a ak-74u B. its dub tapped C. there is a overuse of the 74u honestly man imo the m4 carb dus alot more dmg then the 74u and kills quicker

Even though you donated it might not get added because it's very similar to other presets already in use.G@attack for example. The only difference between mine and yours is the Perk 3 (Silent running) and the deagle. So I think it would be more efficient to just choose mine and change 2 things than have lots of very similar repeats in game.

Hey it's me again ^.^ I've become rather fond of this lately, and I wouldn't ask for another preset, but there isn't one that requires less changes than just the prefab SMG selection so here goes >.<

I was thinking (don worry, I didn't hurt myself) and once people figure out what setups they like to run, they use them over and over and over and over again. Then they might try something a little different, but eventually go back to it. What if I made preset for every class that would really challenge a person within that class? I could maybe make one for every class, and in the preset they could have like a different color text, I.E. HARD and then maybe one more that said HARDER or whatever you guys felt like naming them really. Maybe Challenge idk >.< But if I made them would you be interested in that? I take into account balance and things, trying to give them a couple useful perks while taking away the main benefits to that class. Just to try to get people thinking and moving in a different way. Just thought it would be a fun experiment to see how people  react. The one RuthlessBoo and myself are using is the first prototype of hard mode I guess ><  We use

(If I list more than one option, goes from harder to hardest)

MP5 (or for less ammo for pistol any other class) White cammo

M9 Non-silenced for max killing at all ranges

Flash Nade always

Perk 1:  Bandolier /// 3X flash

Perk 2: SoH /// Stopping Power /// BulletProofVest

Perk 3: Dead Silence /// Extreme Con. /// Deep Impact

Perk 4: Hustle /// Battle Hardened

And I guess the most important thing to mention is you can ONLY USE THE PISTOL. Nothing else. Well I mean except the knife of course but yeah, no main weapon. The white cammo is actually harder to see in some cases than the normal cammo, especially at night when the obs screen is whiter than usual. Also, when you flash with Battle hardened they take a couple seconds longer to see you since you blend in and all xD That's it for now, have to go. Lemme know if you'd like a hard mode for every class?

It's an ok idea, but you cannot enforce people to only use pistol etc. And the build you mentioned is almost my build I use a lot, other than the flashes lol.

I'll throw this out there, but how about a 4th Perk (these are just on the spot ideas, I am not guaranteeing anything):

Elite:
   • Double pistol ammo
   • No main weapon (Cannot pick up a weapon)
   • Slightly increased constant movement speed (Not to the extent of hustle, but faster than normal.)

or

Goomba:
   • Knife only. (Pretty much the marine build that is used for Mario.)
   • Slightly increased constant movement speed

Oh man that's better than what I was even hopin for >< I didn't know you could put conditional things on presets like no pick up weapons >.<  I think that'd be a great idea and I'd write them for that instead of working with normal availability. But yes I'd love an elite setting that would only use pistols. And when I said people would use it and use pistols only, it was more of an honor system since yeah anyone could whip out there main weapon and score a kill XD But if the Elite thing could be done, and maybe it earned you double points while using it, that'd be amazing! lemme know!

Oh and i love the idea of the pistol/elite mode idea.

But with a lot extra ammo and slightly faster movement. And so you can't pick up a primary weapon.

I think if you want to move faster to just use Hustle xD Unless he makes it the fourth perk in which case I think a slight speed boost would be good.  I'm gonna make a thread with what I think the elite classess could be for each thing assault rifle, SMG's, LMG's, etc.  Lemme know what you think =)

Why does he even need bandolier lol, he hits accurately 95%+ of the time. I don't see any bullet wastage there  (If GUID = Pheonix, provide 3 bullets (3 kills per round is enough))
