Great mod guys.  We are running it now at the BAD SQUADRON.

Quick question.  I have notice on several other servers that basic in game jump has been turned up.

I cannot find any jump settings in the config file.  How would we do that?

if you're talking about the marine's jump, then i presume you're just referring to the perk 3 perk, acrobat, which allows marines to jump higher and survive greater falls.

Check your config and make sure this is on.

set obs_allowacrobat 1  //Allow the acrobat perk's jump boost, will assist in survivors exiting maps

Then when in the game choose the Perk 3 Acrobat Perk. It will give you a slight jump boost and allow you to fall from greater distances. If the distance would normally kill you, you will get crippled rather then die.

If you mean the Obscurity leap, just look the direction you wish to jump and press F, then F again when near a wall to cling to it.

oh, by the way, i noticed that some jumps where if you try it without acrobat, you almost die, but not quite, yet with said perk, you get crippled, isn't this not supposed to happen, or is it the extra height from the larger jump causing it?

If acrobat is equipped and you fall far enough to die, you will get crippled. This also includes if you are damaged and fall. Any death resulting from a fall whilst acrobat is on will make you crippled.

If acrobat is equipped. You will die as per normal.

So to answer your question, yes the extra height causes you to fall further, which would kill you if the perk was not equipped.

If you still believe it is working incorrectly, try falling from a large height that almost kills you, that doesn't require you to jump. Then equip the perk and do the same. Hopefully you won't get crippled.
