When you press TAB the scoreboard appears and a minimap to.. so you can see who is your friend and if a Marine is possesed you can't  see over him a green arrow and the possesed will be killed. So if you listen the obscurity sound and a Marine you press TAB and you can know if he is a "true" Marine.

This is intentional.

If you were to not want anyone to know about possed marines you should turn dead chat off as people (on my server) have binds to say they have been possed.....TBH, only nubs get possed these days!

Removed, mainly cause hud sucks and gives away Obscurity positions. The TAB minimap only shows your team, and is useful for spotting a possessed player or knowing when a marine is dropped or needs medical attention. The downside is that is obscures your view and limits manouverability holding TAB so a think it is a pretty fair tradeoff.

What I do if some noob teammate flashes me and im being chased by ob is use the minimap to guide me.  That is the only problem with having it in the scoreboard is then people can see it when flashed.
